Which anti-virus do you use?

You never want to go without an anti-virus software on your computer. Anti-virus software has come a long way over the last few years so that’s why we bundle a few options in with your Managed IT set-up.

1) Webroot SecureAnywhere
A highly trusted and reliable anti-virus software and management platform.
Due to it’s maturity in the industry, we are confident enough to bundle it into our packages, free of charge.

2) Windows Defender + Huntress
Windows Defender has become a highly sophisticated AV and works, however it doesn’t give us the tools we need to manage it effectively, that’s where Huntress comes in, it hooks into Defender and provides those tools to us.
As this solution is becoming a more popular solution among other MSPs due to it’s rapid development, we also bundle this in for free as we are confident in it’s protection and monitoring.

 

What are Managed IT Services?

Simply put, Pro IT’s Managed IT Services means we take care of your entire IT estate. We manage all your hardware and software sourcing, installation and technical support. It also means Pro IT act as your go-to consultancy and support team, providing scheduled maintenance and upgrading of your systems, along with emergency assistance to keep your business up and running.

 

What is cloud backup?

Similar to OneDrive or Google Drive, our Cloud Backup solution backs up an entire workstation or server (or VM) and allows us to get you back up and running in the event of a lost file or broken machine.

Cloud backup also includes image backups and virtualisation, meaning that if a server or workstation goes down, we can virtually deploy a like-for-like version in the cloud.

We use data centers in the UK for this.

 

What kind of response times can I expect?

Depending on the severity of the issue, you can expect to hear a response from us from within 15 minutes to an hour. If you call us, we’ll try and resolve your issue there and then.

We will work with our clients to establish clear expectations of response times and resolution times.

 

How long is a Managed Services Contract For?

Our pricing is based on a 1-year contract, this is soley because as we partner with you, we need to increase our seats with various suppliers, most of which are also usually on a 1-year term.

If you want a shorter term, we can accomodate, however the pricing will adjust accordingly.

What should I do before I call for help?

When possible, write down any information about the issue, any error messages you may see and take screen-shots if you can.

You can e-mail these details to us at the helpdesk e-mail address we provide to you.

This will help speed up the resolution of your issue and get everything running smoothly.

 

What does having Managed IT Services cost?

We operate on a per-endpoint basis.
You only pay for the active endpoints and we will support your infrastructure free-of-charge where we can.
